ಅದು ಇನ್ನೂ ಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗದಿರುವಾಗ ನನ್ನ ಅಸ್ತಿತ್ವವನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳು ನೋಡಿದವು; ನನ್ನ ಅಂಗಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಿನ್ನ ಪುಸ್ತಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವು; ಅವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದಾ ದರೂ ಇಲ್ಲದಿದ್ದಾಗ ಅವುಗಳು ರೂಪಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವು.
Adu innoo poornavaagadiruvaaga nanna astitvavannu ninna kannugalu nodidavu; nanna angagalellaa ninna pustakadalli bareyalpattavu; avugalalli ondaa daroo illadiddaaga avugalu roopisalpattavu.

- 17ಓ ದೇವರೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ಆಲೋಚನೆಗಳು ನನಗೆ ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಪ್ರಿಯವಾಗಿವೆ! ಅವುಗಳ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ ಎಷ್ಟೋ ದೊಡ್ಡ ದಾಗಿದೆ.
- 18ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಲೆಕ್ಕಿಸಿದರೆ ಮರಳು ಗಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿವೆ; ನಾನು ಎಚ್ಚರವಾದಾಗ ಇನ್ನೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಇದ್ದೇನೆ.
