ಕರ್ತನೇ, ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಪರಿಶೋಧಿಸಿ ತಿಳುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೀ;
To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. O LORD, thou hast searched me, and known [me].
ನಾನು ಕೂತು ಕೊಳ್ಳುವದನ್ನೂ ಏಳುವದನ್ನೂ ನೀನು ತಿಳುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೀ; ನನ್ನ ಆಲೋಚನೆಯನ್ನು ದೂರದಿಂದ ಗ್ರಹಿಸಿ ಕೊಂಡ್ಡಿದ್ದೀ;
Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off.
ನಾನು ನಡೆಯುವದನ್ನೂ ಮಲಗುವದನ್ನೂ ನೀನು ಶೋಧಿಸಿದ್ದೀ; ನನ್ನ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಿನಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತಾಗಿವೆ.
Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted [with] all my ways.
ಇಗೋ, ಓ ಕರ್ತನೇ, ನನ್ನ ನಾಲಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯದ ಮಾತು ಒಂದಾದರೂ ಇಲ್ಲ.
For [there is] not a word in my tongue, [but], lo, O LORD, thou knowest it altogether.
ನೀನು ಹಿಂದೆಯೂ ಮುಂದೆಯೂ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಸುತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡು ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈಯನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಇಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೀ.
Thou hast beset me behind and before, and laid thine hand upon me.
ಇಂಥ ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆಯು ನನಗೆ ಅತಿ ಅದ್ಭುತವಾಗಿದೆ; ಅದು ನನಗೆ ನಿಲುಕದಷ್ಟು ಉನ್ನತವಾಗಿದೆ.
[Such] knowledge [is] too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot [attain] unto it.
ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಆತ್ಮಕ್ಕೆ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಎಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಲಿ? ನಿನ್ನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಎಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಓಡಲಿ?
Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence?
ನಾನು ಆಕಾಶಕ್ಕೆ ಏರಿಹೋದರೆ ನೀನು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದೀ; ಪಾತಾಳದಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನ ಹಾಸಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡರೆ ಅಗೋ, ನೀನು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದೀ.
If I ascend up into heaven, thou [art] there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou [art there].
ಉದಯದ ರೆಕ್ಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಕೊಂಡು ಸಮುದ್ರದ ಕಟ್ಟಕಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಮಾಡಿದರೆ
[If] I take the wings of the morning, [and] dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea;
ಅಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನಡಿಸಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಬಲಗೈ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿಯುವದು.
Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me.
ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ಕತ್ತಲೆಯು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕವಿದು ಕೊಳ್ಳುವದೆಂದು ನಾನು ಹೇಳಿದರೆ ರಾತ್ರಿಯು ನನ್ನ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಬೆಳಕಾಗಿರುವದು.
If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me; even the night shall be light about me.
ಕರ್ತನೇ, ಕತ್ತಲೆಯು ನಿನಗೆ ಕಾಣದಂತೆ ಮುಚ್ಚುವದಿಲ್ಲ; ರಾತ್ರಿಯು ಹಗಲಿನ ಹಾಗೆ ಬೆಳಗುವದು; ಕತ್ತಲೂ ಬೆಳಕೂ ನಿನಗೆ ಒಂದೇ ಆಗಿವೆ.
Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light [are] both alike [to thee].
ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಅಂತರಿಂದ್ರಿಯಗಳನ್ನು ರೂಪಿಸಿದ್ದೀ; ನನ್ನ ತಾಯಿಯ ಗರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿದ್ದೀ.
For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother’s womb.
ನಾನು ಭಯಭರಿತನಾಗಿಯೂ ಅದ್ಭುತ ವಾಗಿಯೂ ಮಾಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟದ್ದರಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾ ಡುತ್ತೇನೆ; ನಿನ್ನ ಕೆಲಸಗಳು ಅದ್ಭುತಗಳಾಗಿವೆ ಎಂದು ನನ್ನ ಮನಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿದಿದೆ;
I will praise thee; for I am fearfully [and] wonderfully made: marvellous [are] thy works; and [that] my soul knoweth right well.
ನಾನು ಮರೆ ಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಾಗಲೂ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಅಧೋ ಭಾಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಚಿತ್ರವಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಾಗಲೂ ನನ್ನ ಅಸ್ತಿತ್ವವು ನಿನಗೆ ಮರೆಯಾಗಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ.
My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, [and] curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
ಅದು ಇನ್ನೂ ಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗದಿರುವಾಗ ನನ್ನ ಅಸ್ತಿತ್ವವನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳು ನೋಡಿದವು; ನನ್ನ ಅಂಗಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಿನ್ನ ಪುಸ್ತಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವು; ಅವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದಾ ದರೂ ಇಲ್ಲದಿದ್ದಾಗ ಅವುಗಳು ರೂಪಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವು.
Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all [my members] were written, [which] in continuance were fashioned, when [as yet there was] none of them.
ಓ ದೇವರೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ಆಲೋಚನೆಗಳು ನನಗೆ ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಪ್ರಿಯವಾಗಿವೆ! ಅವುಗಳ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ ಎಷ್ಟೋ ದೊಡ್ಡ ದಾಗಿದೆ.
How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them!
ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಲೆಕ್ಕಿಸಿದರೆ ಮರಳು ಗಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿವೆ; ನಾನು ಎಚ್ಚರವಾದಾಗ ಇನ್ನೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಇದ್ದೇನೆ.
[If] I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with thee.
ಓ ದೇವರೇ, ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ನೀನು ದುಷ್ಟನನ್ನು ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕುವಿ; ರಕ್ತ ಪ್ರಿಯರೇ, ನನ್ನಿಂದ ತೊಲ ಗಿರಿ.
Surely thou wilt slay the wicked, O God: depart from me therefore, ye bloody men.
ಅವರು ನಿನಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಕೆಟ್ಟತನದಿಂದ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ; ನಿನ್ನ ವೈರಿಗಳು ನಿನ್ನ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ವ್ಯರ್ಥವಾಗಿ ಎತ್ತುತ್ತಾರೆ.
For they speak against thee wickedly, [and] thine enemies take [thy name] in vain.
ಓ ಕರ್ತನೇ, ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ದ್ವೇಷಿಸುವವರನ್ನು ಹಗೆಮಾಡುವದಿಲ್ಲವೋ? ನಿನ್ನ ವಿರೋಧಿಗಳಿಗೆ ನಾನು ಬೇಸರಗೊಳ್ಳುವ ದಿಲ್ಲವೋ?
Do not I hate them, O LORD, that hate thee? and am not I grieved with those that rise up against thee?
ಪೂರ್ಣ ದ್ವೇಷದಿಂದ ಅವರನ್ನು ನಾನು ಹಗೆಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ; ಅವರು ನನ್ನ ಶತ್ರುಗಳೆಂದು ನಾನು ಎಣಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.
I hate them with perfect hatred: I count them mine enemies.
ದೇವರೇ, ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಶೋಧಿಸಿ ನನ್ನ ಹೃದಯವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದುಕೋ; ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಪರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ನನ್ನ ಆಲೋಚನೆಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದುಕೋ.ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ದುಷ್ಟತ ನದ ಮಾರ್ಗ ಉಂಟೇನೋ ನೋಡಿ ನಿತ್ಯವಾದ ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನಡಿಸು.
Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts:
ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ದುಷ್ಟತ ನದ ಮಾರ್ಗ ಉಂಟೇನೋ ನೋಡಿ ನಿತ್ಯವಾದ ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನಡಿಸು.
And see if [there be any] wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.
