2. 3ಆ ಸಾವಿರ ವರುಷ ತೀರುವ ತನಕ ಅವನು ಇನ್ನು ಎಂದಿಗೂ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳನ್ನು ಮರುಳು ಗೊಳಿಸದ ಹಾಗೆ ದೂತನು ಅವನನ್ನು ತಳವಿಲ್ಲದ ತಗ್ಗಿನಲ್ಲಿ ದೊಬ್ಬಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿ ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಮುದ್ರೆ ಹಾಕಿದನು. ಆ ಸಾವಿರ ವರುಷಗಳಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಕಾಲ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಯಾಗತಕ್ಕದ್ದು.
3. 4ತರುವಾಯ ಸಿಂಹಾಸನಗಳನ್ನು ಕಂಡೆನು. ಅವುಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೂತಿದ್ದವರಿಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರಿಸುವ ಅಧಿಕಾರವು ಕೊಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿತು. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಯೇಸುವಿನ ವಿಷಯವಾದ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವಾಗಿಯೂ ದೇವರ ವಾಕ್ಯದ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವಾಗಿಯೂ ತಲೆಹೊಯಿಸಿಕೊಂಡವರ ಆತ್ಮಗಳನ್ನೂ ಮೃಗಕ್ಕೂ ಅದರ ವಿಗ್ರಹಕ್ಕೂ
4. 5ಮಿಕ್ಕ ಸತ್ತವರು ಆ ಸಾವಿರ ವರುಷ ತೀರುವತನಕ ತಿರಿಗಿ ಬದುಕಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಇದೇ ಪ್ರಥಮ ಪುನರುತ್ಥಾನವು.
5. 6ಪ್ರಥಮ ಪುನರುತ್ಥಾ ನದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇರಿರುವವನು ಧನ್ಯನೂ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧನೂ ಆಗಿ ದ್ದಾನೆ. ಇಂಥವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಎರಡನೆಯ ಮರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರವಿಲ್ಲ; ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ದೇವರಿಗೂ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನಿಗೂ ಯಾಜಕರಾಗಿ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಾವಿರ ವರುಷ ಆಳುವರು.
