ದಾರ್ಯಾವೆಷನ ಎರಡನೆಯ ವರುಷದ ಹನ್ನೊಂ ದನೆ ತಿಂಗಳಾದ ಶೆಬಾಟ್‌ ಎಂಬ ತಿಂಗಳಿನ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತ ನಾಲ್ಕನೆಯ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ತನ ವಾಕ್ಯವು ಇದ್ದೋನಿನ ಮಗನಾದ ಬೆರೆಕ್ಯನ ಮಗನಾದ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯಾದ ಜೆಕರ್ಯನಿಗೆ ಉಂಟಾಯಿತು. ಹೇಗೆಂದರೆ,

5ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪಿತೃ ಗಳೋ, ಅವರು ಎಲ್ಲಿ? ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳು, ಅವರು ನಿತ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಬದುಕುತ್ತಾರೋ?
6ಆದರೆ ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರಾದ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ ನನ್ನ ವಾಕ್ಯ ಗಳೂ ನನ್ನ ನಿಯಮಗಳೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪಿತೃಗಳಿಗೆ ಸೇರಲಿ ಲ್ಲವೋ? ಆಗ ಅವರು ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಂಡು--ಸೈನ್ಯಗಳ ಕರ್ತನು ಯೋಚಿಸಿದ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ನಮ್ಮ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರವಾಗಿಯೂ ನಮ್ಮ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರವಾ ಗಿಯೂ ನಮಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾನೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು ಎಂಬದು.
7ದಾರ್ಯಾವೆಷನ ಎರಡನೆಯ ವರುಷದ ಹನ್ನೊಂ ದನೆ ತಿಂಗಳಾದ ಶೆಬಾಟ್‌ ಎಂಬ ತಿಂಗಳಿನ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತ ನಾಲ್ಕನೆಯ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ತನ ವಾಕ್ಯವು ಇದ್ದೋನಿನ ಮಗನಾದ ಬೆರೆಕ್ಯನ ಮಗನಾದ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯಾದ ಜೆಕರ್ಯನಿಗೆ ಉಂಟಾಯಿತು. ಹೇಗೆಂದರೆ,
8ನಾನು ರಾತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನೋಡಿದಾಗ ಇಗೋ, ಕೆಂಪು ಕುದುರೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಸವಾರಿ ಮಾಡುವ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು; ಅವನು ತಗ್ಗಿನಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಗಂಧದ ಗಿಡಗಳ ನಡುವೆ ನಿಂತಿದ್ದನು; ಅವನ ಹಿಂದೆ ಕೆಂಪು ಕಪಿಲ ಬಿಳೀ ಕುದುರೆಗಳು ಇದ್ದವು.
9ಆಗ ನಾನು--ಓ ನನ್ನ ಒಡೆಯನೇ, ಇವೇನು ಅಂದೆನು. ಆಗ ನನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ದೂತ ನು--ಇವೇನೆಂದು ನಿನಗೆ ತೋರಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ ಅಂದೆನು.
