അങ്ങനെ ബത്ത്-ശേബ പള്ളിയറയിൽ രാജാവിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ചെന്നു; രാജാവു വയോധികനായിരുന്നു; ശൂനേംകാരത്തിയായ അബീശഗ് രാജാവിന്നു ശുശ്രൂഷ ചെയ്തുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നു.

Angngane batt-sheba palliyarayil raajaavinte atukkal chennu; raajaavu vayodhikanaayirunnu; shoonenkaarattiyaaya abeeshag raajaavinnu shushroosha cheytukontirunnu.

15അങ്ങനെ ബത്ത്-ശേബ പള്ളിയറയിൽ രാജാവിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ചെന്നു; രാജാവു വയോധികനായിരുന്നു; ശൂനേംകാരത്തിയായ അബീശഗ് രാജാവിന്നു ശുശ്രൂഷ ചെയ്തുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നു.
16ബത്ത്-ശേബ കുനിഞ്ഞു രാജാവിനെ നമസ്കരിച്ചു. നിനക്കു എന്തു വേണം എന്നു രാജാവു ചോദിച്ചു.
17അവൾ അവനോടു പറഞ്ഞതു: എന്റെ യജമാനനേ, നിന്റെ മകൻ ശലോമോൻ എന്റെ അനന്തരവനായി വാണു എന്റെ സിംഹാസനത്തിൽ ഇരിക്കും എന്നു നീ നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ നാമത്തിൽ അടിയനോടു സത്യം ചെയ്തുവല്ലോ.
