നാഥാൻ പ്രവാചകൻ വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു രാജാവിനോടു അറിയിച്ചു. അവൻ രാജസന്നിധിയിൽ ചെന്നു രാജാവിനെ സാഷ്ടാംഗം വീണു നമസ്കരിച്ചു.

- 25അവൻ ഇന്നു ചെന്നു അനവധി കാളകളെയും തടിപ്പിച്ച മൃഗങ്ങളെയും ആടുകളെയും അറുത്തു, രാജകുമാരന്മാരെയൊക്കെയും സേനാധിപതിമാരെയും പുരോഹിതനായ അബ്യാഥാരിനെയും ക്ഷണിച്ചു. അവർ അവന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ ഭക്ഷിച്ചു പാനംചെയ്തു: അദോനീയാരാജാവേ, ജയജയ എന്നു പറയുന്നു.
