ശലോമോൻരാജാവും അവന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നുകൂടിയ യിസ്രായേൽസഭ ഒക്കെയും അവനോടുകൂടെ പെട്ടകത്തിന്നു മുമ്പിൽ എണ്ണവും കണക്കുമില്ലാതെ അനവധി ആടുകളെയും കാളകളെയും യാഗം കഴിച്ചു.
