അവർ ഓടിച്ചെന്നു അവിടെനിന്നു അവനെ കൊണ്ടുവന്നു. ജനമദ്ധ്യേ നിന്നപ്പോൾ അവൻ ജനത്തിൽ എല്ലാവരെക്കാളും തോൾമുതൽ പൊക്കമേറിയവനായിരുന്നു.

- 24അപ്പോൾ ശമൂവേൽ സർവ്വജനത്തോടും: യഹോവ തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തവനെ നിങ്ങൾ കാണുന്നുവോ? സർവ്വജനത്തിലും അവനെപ്പോലെ ഒരുത്തനും ഇല്ലല്ലോ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. ജനമെല്ലാം: രാജാവേ, ജയ ജയ എന്നു ആർത്തു.
- 25അതിന്റെ ശേഷം ശമൂവേൽ രാജധർമ്മം ജനത്തെ പറഞ്ഞുകേൾപ്പിച്ചു; അതു ഒരു പുസ്തകത്തിൽ എഴുതി യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയിൽ വെച്ചു. പിന്നെ ശമൂവേൽ ജനത്തെയെല്ലാം വീട്ടിലേക്കു പറഞ്ഞയച്ചു.
