അനന്തരം ജനം ശമൂവേലിനോടു: ശൗൽ ഞങ്ങൾക്കു രാജാവായിരിക്കുമോ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞതു ആർ? അവരെ ഏല്പിച്ചുതരേണം; ഞങ്ങൾ അവരെ കൊന്നുകളയും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
Anantaram janam shamoovelinotu: shal nyangngalkku raajaavaayirikkumo ennu paranynyatu aar? Avare elpichchutarenam; nyangngal avare konnukalayum ennu paranynyu.

- 13അതിന്നു ശൗൽ: ഇന്നു ഒരു മനുഷ്യനെയും കൊല്ലരുതു; ഇന്നു യഹോവ യസ്രായേലിന്നു രക്ഷ വരുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
