അങ്ങനെ യിശ്ശായി ഏഴു പുത്രന്മാരെ ശമൂവേലിന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ വരുത്തി; എന്നാൽ ശമൂവേൽ യിശ്ശായിയോടു: യഹോവ ഇവരെ തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തിട്ടില്ല എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
Angngane yishshaayi ezhu putranmaare shamoovelinte mumpil varutti; ennaal shamoovel yishshaayiyotu: yahova ivare tiranynyetuttittilla ennu paranynyu.

- 12ഉടനെ അവൻ ആളയച്ചു അവനെ വരുത്തി; എന്നാൽ അവൻ പവിഴനിറമുള്ളവനും സുനേത്രനും കോമളരൂപിയും ആയിരുന്നു. അപ്പോൾ യഹോവ: എഴുന്നേറ്റു ഇവനെ അഭിഷേകം ചെയ്ക; ഇവൻ തന്നേ ആകുന്നു എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു.
