ദാവീദ് ജനത്തോടും നേരിന്റെ മകനായ അബ്നേരിനോടും: അബ്നേരേ, നീ ഉത്തരം പറയുന്നില്ലയോ എന്നു വിളിച്ചു പറഞ്ഞു. അതിന്നു അബ്നേർ: രാജസന്നിധിയിൽ കൂകുന്ന നീ ആർ എന്നു അങ്ങോട്ടു ചോദിച്ചു.

Daaveed janattotum nerinte makanaaya abnerinotum: abnere, nee uttaram parayunnillayo ennu vilichchu paranynyu. Atinnu abner: raajasannidhiyil kookunna nee aar ennu angngottu chodichchu.

15ദാവീദ് അബ്നേരിനോടു പറഞ്ഞതു: നീ ഒരു പുരുഷൻ അല്ലയോ? യിസ്രായേലിൽ നിനക്കു തുല്യൻ ആരുള്ളു? അങ്ങനെയിരിക്കെ നിന്റെ യജമാനനായ രാജാവിനെ നീ കാത്തുകൊള്ളാതിരുന്നതു എന്തു? നിന്റെ യജമാനനായ രാജാവിനെ നശിപ്പിപ്പാൻ ജനത്തിൽ ഒരുത്തൻ അവിടെ വന്നിരുന്നുവല്ലോ.
16നീ ചെയ്ത കാര്യം നന്നായില്ല; യഹോവയുടെ അഭിഷിക്തനായ നിങ്ങളുടെ യജമാനനെ കാത്തുകൊള്ളാതിരിക്കയാൽ യഹോവയാണ നിങ്ങൾ മരണയോഗ്യർ ആകുന്നു. രാജാവിന്റെ കുന്തവും അവന്റെ തലെക്കൽ ഇരുന്ന ജലപാത്രവും എവിടെ എന്നു നോക്കുക.
