- 13അവൻ വരുമ്പോൾ ഏലി നോക്കിക്കൊണ്ടു വഴിയരികെ തന്റെ ആസനത്തിൽ ഇരിക്കയായിരുന്നു; ദൈവത്തിന്റെ പെട്ടകത്തെക്കുറിച്ചു അവന്റെ ഹൃദയം വ്യാകുലപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നു; ആ മനുഷ്യൻ പട്ടണത്തിൽ എത്തി വസ്തുത പറഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ പട്ടണത്തിലെല്ലാം നിലവിളിയായി.
- 14ഏലി നിലവിളികേട്ടപ്പോൾ ഈ ആരവം എന്തു എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു. ആ മനുഷ്യൻ ബദ്ധപ്പെട്ടു വന്നു ഏലിയോടും അറിയിച്ചു.
