അവർ യെഹൂദയിലേക്കു വന്നു അതിനെ ആക്രമിച്ചു രാജധാനിയിൽ കണ്ട സകലവസ്തുവകകളെയും അവന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരെയും അവന്റെ ഭാര്യമാരെയും അപഹരിച്ചു കൊണ്ടുപോയി; അതുകൊണ്ടു അവന്റെ ഇളയമകനായ യെഹോവാഹാസല്ലാതെ ഒരു മകനും അവന്നു ശേഷിച്ചില്ല.

- 19കാലക്രമേണ രണ്ടു സംവത്സരം കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടു ദീനത്താൽ അവന്റെ കുടൽ പുറത്തുചാടി അവൻ കഠിനവ്യാധിയാൽ മരിച്ചു; അവന്റെ ജനം അവന്റെ പിതാക്കന്മാർക്കു കഴിച്ച ദഹനംപോലെ അവന്നു വേണ്ടി ദഹനം കഴിച്ചില്ല.
