ചെത്തിയ കല്ലും ചേർപ്പുപണിക്കു മരവും വാങ്ങേണ്ടതിന്നും യെഹൂദാരാജാക്കന്മാർ നശിപ്പിച്ചിരുന്ന കെട്ടിടങ്ങൾക്കു തുലാങ്ങൾ വെക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ആശാരികൾക്കും പണിക്കാർക്കും തന്നേ.

12ആ പുരുഷന്മാർ വിശ്വാസത്തിന്മേൽ പ്രവർത്തിച്ചു; മെരാര്യരിൽ യഹത്ത്, ഓബദ്യാവു എന്ന ലേവ്യരും പണിനടത്തുവാൻ കെഹാത്യരിൽ സെഖര്യാവും മെശുല്ലാമും വാദ്യപ്രയോഗത്തിൽ സാമർത്ഥ്യമുള്ള സകലലേവ്യരും അവരുടെമേൽ വിചാരകന്മാർ ആയിരുന്നു.
13അവർ ചുമട്ടുകാർക്കും അതതു വേല ചെയ്യുന്ന എല്ലാ പണിക്കാർക്കും മേൽവിചാരകന്മാരായിരുന്നു; ലേവ്യരിൽ ചിലർ എഴുത്തുകാരും ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥന്മാരും വാതിൽകാവല്ക്കാരും ആയിരുന്നു.
