കെരൂബുകൾ പെട്ടകത്തിന്റെ സ്ഥലത്തിന്നു മീതെ ചിറകുവിരിച്ചു പെട്ടകത്തെയും അതിന്റെ തണ്ടുകളെയും മൂടിനിന്നു,

- 9തണ്ടുകൾ നീണ്ടിരിക്കയാൽ തണ്ടുകളുടെ അറ്റങ്ങൾ അന്തർമ്മന്ദിരത്തിന്നു മുമ്പിൽ പെട്ടകത്തെ കവിഞ്ഞു കാണും എങ്കിലും പുറത്തുനിന്നു കാണുകയില്ല; അവ ഇന്നുവരെ അവിടെ ഉണ്ടു.
- 10യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾ മിസ്രയീമിൽനിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടശേഷം യഹോവ അവരോടു നിയമം ചെയ്തപ്പോൾ മോശെ ഹോരേബിൽവെച്ചു പെട്ടകത്തിൽ വെച്ചിരുന്ന രണ്ടു കല്പലകയല്ലാതെ അതിൽ മറ്റൊന്നും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല.
