3. 27അതിന്നു അശ്ശൂർ രാജാവു: നിങ്ങൾ അവിടെനിന്നു കൊണ്ടുവന്ന പുരോഹിതന്മാരിൽ ഒരുത്തനെ അവിടേക്കു കൊണ്ടുപോകുവിൻ; അവർ ചെന്നു അവിടെ പാർക്കയും അവർ ആ ദേശത്തെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ മാർഗ്ഗം അവരെ ഉപദേശിക്കയും ചെയ്യട്ടെ എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു.
4. 28അങ്ങനെ അവർ ശമര്യയിൽനിന്നു കൊണ്ടുപോയിരുന്ന പുരോഹിതന്മാരിൽ ഒരുത്തൻ വന്നു ബേഥേലിൽ പാർത്തു; യഹോവയെ ഭജിക്കേണ്ടുന്ന വിധം അവർക്കു ഉപദേശിച്ചുകൊടുത്തു.
5. 29എങ്കിലും അതതു ജാതി താന്താന്റെ ദേവന്മാരെ ഉണ്ടാക്കി, ഓരോ ജാതി പാർത്തുവന്ന പട്ടണങ്ങളിൽ ശമര്യർ ഉണ്ടാക്കിയിരുന്ന പൂജാഗിരിക്ഷേത്രങ്ങളിൽ പ്രതിഷ്ഠിച്ചു.
