- 14ഏലീയാവിന്മേൽനിന്നു വീണ പുതപ്പുകൊണ്ടു അവൻ വെള്ളത്തെ അടിച്ചു: ഏലീയാവിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ എവിടെ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. അവൻ വെള്ളത്തെ അടിച്ചപ്പോൾ അതു അങ്ങോട്ടും ഇങ്ങോട്ടും പിരിഞ്ഞു. എലീശാ ഇക്കരെക്കു കടന്നു.
- 15യെരീഹോവിൽ അവന്നെതിരെ നിന്നിരുന്നു പ്രവാചകശിഷ്യന്മാർ അവനെ കണ്ടിട്ടു: ഏലീയാവിന്റെ ആത്മാവു എലീശയുടെമേൽ അധിവസിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു അവനെ എതിരേറ്റുചെന്നു അവന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ സാഷ്ടാംഗം വീണു.
