ഈസേബെലിനെ യിസ്രെയേൽപ്രദേശത്തുവെച്ചു നായ്ക്കൾ തിന്നുകളയും; അവളെ അടക്കം ചെയ്‌വാൻ ആരും ഉണ്ടാകയില്ല. പിന്നെ അവൻ വാതിൽ തുറന്നു ഓടിപ്പോയി.

- 11യേഹൂതന്റെ യജമാനന്റെ ഭൃത്യന്മാരുടെ അടുക്കൽ പുറത്തു വന്നപ്പോൾ ഒരുത്തൻ അവനോടു: എന്താകുന്നു വിശേഷം? ആ ഭ്രാന്തൻ നിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നതെന്തിന്നു? എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു. അതിന്നു അവൻ അവരോടു: നിങ്ങൾ ആ പുരുഷനെയും അവൻ പറഞ്ഞ കാര്യത്തെയും അറിയുന്നുവല്ലോ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
