King James Version (KJV): Wherefore they came again, and told him. And he said, This [is] the word of the LORD, which he spake by his servant Elijah the Tishbite, saying, In the portion of Jezreel shall dogs eat the flesh of Jezebel:

37അതു ഈസേബെൽ എന്നു പറവാൻ കഴിയാതവണ്ണം ഈസേബെലിന്റെ പിണം യിസ്രെയേൽപ്രദേശത്തു വയലിലെ ചാണകംപോലെ ആകും എന്നിങ്ങനെ യഹോവ തിശ്ബ്യനായ എലീയാവു എന്ന തന്റെ ദാസൻമുഖാന്തരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്ത വചനം തന്നേ ഇതു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
