അവൻ പിന്നെയും: ഏതായാലും ഞാൻ ഓടും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞതിന്നു: എന്നാൽ ഓടിക്കൊൾക എന്നു അവൻ പറഞ്ഞു. അങ്ങനെ അഹീമാസ് സമഭൂമിവഴിയായി ഓടി കൂശ്യനെ കടന്നുപോയി.
Avan pinneyum: etaayaalum nyaan otum ennu paranynyatinnu: ennaal otikkolka ennu avan paranynyu. Angngane aheemaas samabhoomivazhiyaayi oti kooshyane katannupoyi.

- 24എന്നാൽ ദാവീദ് രണ്ടു പടിവാതിലിന്നു മദ്ധ്യേ ഇരിക്കയായിരുന്നു. കാവല്ക്കാരൻ പടിവാതിലിന്നും മീതെ മതിലിന്റെ മുകളിൽ കയറി തല ഉയർത്തിനോക്കി ഒരുത്തൻ തനിച്ചു ഓടിവരുന്നതു കണ്ടു.
- 25കാവല്ക്കാരൻ രാജാവിനോടു വിളിച്ചു അറിയിച്ചു. അവൻ ഏകൻ എങ്കിൽ സദ്വർത്തമാനവും കൊണ്ടാകുന്നു വരുന്നതു എന്നു രാജാവു പറഞ്ഞു.
