യെഹൂദന്മാർ എല്ലാവരും റോമനഗരം വിട്ടു പോകണം എന്നു ക്ലൗദ്യൊസ് കല്പിച്ചതുകൊണ്ടു ഇത്തല്യയിൽ നിന്നു ആ ഇടെക്കു വന്നവനായി പൊന്തൊസ്കാരൻ അക്വിലാസ് എന്നു പേരുള്ളോരു യെഹൂദനെയും അവന്റെ ഭാര്യ പ്രിസ്കില്ലയെയും കണ്ടു അവരുടെ അടുക്കൽ ചെന്നു.

King James Version (KJV): And found a certain Jew named Aquila, born in Pontus, lately come from Italy, with his wife Priscilla; (because that Claudius had commanded all Jews to depart from Rome:) and came unto them.

4എന്നാൽ ശബ്ബത്ത്തോറും അവൻ പള്ളിയിൽ സംവാദിച്ചു യെഹൂദന്മാരെയും യവനന്മാരെയും സമ്മതിപ്പിച്ചു.
