അവരിൽ ഒരുത്തൻ അന്യായം ഏല്ക്കുന്നതു കണ്ടിട്ടു അവന്നു തുണ നിന്നു, മിസ്രയീമ്യനെ അടിച്ചു കൊന്നു, പീഡിതന്നു വേണ്ടി പ്രതിക്രിയ ചെയ്തു.

- 25ദൈവം താൻ മുഖാന്തരം അവർക്കു രക്ഷ നല്കും എന്നു സഹോദരന്മാർ ഗ്രഹിക്കും എന്നു അവൻ നിരൂപിച്ചു; എങ്കിലും അവർ ഗ്രഹിച്ചില്ല.
- 26പിറ്റെന്നാൾ അവർ കലഹിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ അവൻ അവരുടെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നു: പുരുഷന്മാരെ, നിങ്ങൾ സഹോദരന്മാരല്ലോ; തമ്മിൽ അന്യായം ചെയ്യുന്നതു എന്തു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു അവരെ സമാധാനപ്പെടുത്തുവാൻ നോക്കി.
