പർവ്വതങ്ങളെ നിർമ്മിക്കയും കാറ്റിനെ സൃഷ്ടിക്കയും മനുഷ്യനോടു അവന്റെ നിരൂപണം ഇന്നതെന്നു അറിയിക്കയും പ്രഭാതത്തെ അന്ധകാരമാക്കുകയും ഭൂമിയുടെ ഉന്നതികളിന്മേൽ നടകൊള്ളുകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന ഒരുത്തനുണ്ടു; സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ എന്നാകുന്നു അവന്റെ നാമം.
