എന്നാൽ ഒന്നാം മാസം ഇരുപത്തുനാലാം തിയ്യതി ഞാൻ ഹിദ്ദേക്കൽ എന്ന മഹാ നദീതീരത്തു ഇരിക്കയിൽ തലപൊക്കി നോക്കിപ്പോൾ,

- 5ശണവസ്ത്രം ധരിച്ചും അരെക്കു ഊഫാസ് തങ്കംകൊണ്ടുള്ള കച്ച കെട്ടിയും ഇരിക്കുന്ന ഒരു പുരുഷനെ കണ്ടു.
- 6അവന്റെ ദേഹം ഗോമേദകംപോലെയും മുഖം മിന്നൽ പ്രകാശംപോലെയും കണ്ണു തീപ്പന്തംപോലെയും ഭുജങ്ങളും കാലുകളും മിനുക്കിയ താമ്രത്തിന്റെ വർണ്ണംപോലെയും അവന്റെ വാക്കുകളുടെ ശബ്ദം ഒരു പുരുഷാരത്തിന്റെ ആരവംപോലെയും ആയിരുന്നു.
