കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ടവന്നു അധികം അടുത്തിരിക്കുന്ന പട്ടണത്തിലെ മൂപ്പന്മാർ, വേല ചെയ്യിക്കാത്തതും നുകം വെക്കാത്തതുമായ ഒരു പശുക്കിടാവിനെ കൊണ്ടുവരേണം.

- 4ആ പട്ടണത്തിലെ മൂപ്പന്മാർ ഉഴവും വിതയും ഇല്ലാത്തതും നീരൊഴുക്കുള്ളതുമായ ഒരു താഴ്‌വരയിൽ പശുക്കിടാവിനെ കൊണ്ടുചെന്നു അവിടെവെച്ചു പശുക്കിടാവിന്റെ കഴുത്തു ഒടിച്ചുകളയേണം.
- 5പിന്നെ ലേവ്യരായ പുരോഹിതന്മാർ അടുത്തു ചെല്ലേണം; അവരെയല്ലോ നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ തനിക്കു ശുശ്രൂഷചെയ്‌വാനും യഹോവയുടെ നാമത്തിൽ അനുഗ്രഹിപ്പാനും തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നതു; അവരുടെ വാക്കിൻ പ്രകാരം സകലവ്യവഹാരവും അടികലശലും തീർക്കേണ്ടതാകുന്നു.
