ഇങ്ങനെ കല്മഴയും കല്മഴയോടു കൂടെ വിടാതെ ഇറങ്ങുന്ന തീയും അതികഠിനമായിരുന്നു; മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തു ജനവാസം തുടങ്ങിയതുമുതൽ അതിലെങ്ങും ഇതുപോലെ ഉണ്ടായിട്ടില്ല.

- 25മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തു എല്ലാടവും മനുഷ്യരെയും മൃഗങ്ങളെയും വയലിൽ ഇരുന്ന സകലത്തെയും കല്മഴ സംഹരിച്ചു; കല്മഴ വയലിലുള്ള സകലസസ്യത്തെയും നശിപ്പിച്ചു; പറമ്പിലെ വൃക്ഷത്തെ ഒക്കെയും തകർത്തുകളഞ്ഞു.
- 26യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾ പാർത്ത ഗോശെൻദേശത്തു മാത്രം കല്മഴ ഉണ്ടായില്ല.
