പിന്നെ യഹോവ മോശെയോടും അഹരോനോടും: അടുപ്പിലെ വെണ്ണീർ കൈനിറച്ചു വാരുവിൻ; മോശെ അതു ഫറവോന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ ആകാശത്തേക്കു വിതറട്ടെ.

7ഫറവോൻ ആളയച്ചു; യിസ്രായേല്യരുടെ മൃഗങ്ങൾ ഒന്നുപോലും ചത്തില്ല എന്നു കണ്ടു എങ്കിലും ഫറവോന്റെ ഹൃദയം കഠിനപ്പെട്ടു അവൻ ജനത്തെ വിട്ടയച്ചതുമില്ല.

9അതു മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തു എല്ലാടവും ധൂളിയായി പാറി മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തൊക്കെയും മനുഷ്യരുടെ മേലും മൃഗങ്ങളിൻമേലും പുണ്ണായി പൊങ്ങുന്ന പരുവാകും എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു.
10അങ്ങനെ അവർ അടുപ്പിലെ വെണ്ണീർ വാരി ഫറവോന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ നിന്നു. മോശെ അതു ആകാശത്തേക്കു വിതറിയപ്പോൾ അതു മനുഷ്യരുടെ മേലും മൃഗങ്ങളിൻ മേലും പുണ്ണായി പൊങ്ങുന്ന പരുവായ്തീർന്നു.
