- 15ഞാൻ അവരെ ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയിൽ ചിതറിച്ചു ദേശങ്ങളിൽ ചിന്നിക്കുമ്പോൾ ഞാൻ യഹോവ എന്നു അവർ അറിയും.
- 16എന്നാൽ അവർ പോയിരിക്കുന്ന ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയിൽ തങ്ങളുടെ സകലമ്ലേച്ഛതകളെയും വിവരിച്ചു പറയേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാൻ അവരിൽ ഏതാനുംപേരെ വാൾ, ക്ഷാമം, മഹാമാരി എന്നിവയിൽനിന്നു ശേഷിപ്പിക്കും; ഞാൻ യഹോവ എന്നു അവർ അറിയും.

- 18മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, നടുക്കത്തോടെ അപ്പം തിന്നുകയും വിറയലോടും പേടിയോടുംകൂടെ വെള്ളം കുടിക്കയും ചെയ്ക.
- 19ദേശത്തിലെ ജനത്തോടു നീ പറയേണ്ടതു: യെരൂശലേംനിവാസികളെയും യിസ്രായേൽ ദേശത്തെയും കുറിച്ചു യഹോവയായ കർത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: അവരുടെ ദേശം അതിലെ സകലനിവാസികളുടെയും സാഹസംനിമിത്തം അതിന്റെ നിറവോടുകൂടെ ശൂന്യമായ്പോകുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു അവർ പേടിയോടെ അപ്പം തിന്നുകയും സ്തംഭനത്തോടെ വെള്ളം കുടിക്കയും ചെയ്യും.
