അവൻ എന്നെ യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിൽ വടക്കോട്ടുള്ള വാതിലിന്റെ പ്രവേശനത്തിങ്കൽ കൊണ്ടുപോയി; അവിടെ സ്ത്രീകൾ തമ്മൂസിനെക്കുറിച്ചു കരഞ്ഞുംകൊണ്ടു ഇരിക്കുന്നതു ഞാൻ കണ്ടു.
Avan enne yahovayute aalayattil vatakkottulla vaatilinte praveshanattingkal kontupoyi; avite streekal tammoosinekkurichchu karanynyunkontu irikkunnatu nyaan kantu.

- 15അവൻ എന്നോടു: മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, നീ കാണുന്നുവോ? ഇതിലും വലിയ മ്ലേച്ഛതകളെ ഇനിയും കാണും എന്നു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു.
- 16അവൻ എന്നെ യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിന്റെ അകത്തെ പ്രാകാരത്തിൽ കൊണ്ടുപോയി, യഹോവയുടെ മന്ദിരത്തിന്റെ വാതില്ക്കൽ മണ്ഡപത്തിന്നും യാഗപീഠത്തിന്നും നടുവെ ഏകദേശം ഇരുപത്തഞ്ചു പുരുഷന്മാർ തങ്ങളുടെ മുതുകു യഹോവയുടെ മന്ദിരത്തിന്റെ നേരെയും മുഖം കിഴക്കോട്ടും തിരിച്ചുകൊണ്ടു നിന്നിരുന്നു; അവർ കിഴക്കോട്ടു നോക്കി സൂര്യനെ നമസ്കരിക്കയായിരുന്നു.
