അങ്ങനെ യേശുവയും അവന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരും സഹോദരന്മാരും കദ്മീയേലും അവന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരും ഹോദവ്യാവിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരും ഹെനാദാദിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരും അവരുടെ പുത്രന്മാരും സഹോദരന്മാരുമായ ലേവ്യരും യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിൽ വേലചെയ്യുന്നവരെ മേൽവിചാരണ ചെയ്‌വാൻ ഒരുമനപ്പെട്ടുനിന്നു.

- 9അങ്ങനെ യേശുവയും അവന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരും സഹോദരന്മാരും കദ്മീയേലും അവന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരും ഹോദവ്യാവിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരും ഹെനാദാദിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരും അവരുടെ പുത്രന്മാരും സഹോദരന്മാരുമായ ലേവ്യരും യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിൽ വേലചെയ്യുന്നവരെ മേൽവിചാരണ ചെയ്‌വാൻ ഒരുമനപ്പെട്ടുനിന്നു.
- 10പണിയുന്നവർ യഹോവയുടെ മന്ദിരത്തിന്നു അടിസ്ഥാനം ഇട്ടപ്പോൾ യിസ്രായേൽരാജാവായ ദാവീദിന്റെ ചട്ടപ്രകാരം യഹോവെക്കു സ്തോത്രം ചെയ്യേണ്ടതിന്നു വിശുദ്ധവസ്ത്രം ധരിച്ച പുരോഹിതന്മാരെ കാഹളങ്ങളോടും ആസാഫ്യരായ ലേവ്യരെ കൈത്താളങ്ങളോടുംകൂടെ നിർത്തി.
- 11അവർ യഹോവയെ: അവൻ നല്ലവൻ; യിസ്രായേലിനോടു അവന്റെ ദയ എന്നേക്കും ഉള്ളതു എന്നിങ്ങനെ വാഴ്ത്തിസ്തുതിച്ചുംകൊണ്ടു ഗാനപ്രതിഗാനം ചെയ്തു. അവർ യഹോവയെ സ്തുതിക്കുമ്പോൾ യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിന്റെ അടിസ്ഥാനം ഇട്ടതുകൊണ്ടു ജനമെല്ലാം അത്യുച്ചത്തിൽ ആർത്തു ഘോഷിച്ചു.
