12തിരുമുമ്പിൽനിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടു ഞങ്ങളുടെ അടുക്കൽ യെരൂശലേമിൽ വന്നിരിക്കുന്ന യെഹൂദന്മാർ മത്സരവും ദുഷ്ടതയുമുള്ള ആ പട്ടണം പണികയും അതിന്റെ മതിലുകൾ കെട്ടുകയും അടിസ്ഥാനങ്ങൾ നന്നാക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.
13പട്ടണം പണിതു മതിലുകൾ കെട്ടിത്തീർന്നാൽ അവർ കരമോ നികുതിയോ ചുങ്കമോ ഒന്നും അടെക്കയില്ല; അങ്ങനെ ഒടുവിൽ അവർ രാജാക്കന്മാർക്കു നഷ്ടം വരുത്തും എന്നു രാജാവിന്നു ബോധിച്ചിരിക്കേണം.
