ആ പുരുഷന്മാർ അവിടെനിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടു സൊദോംവഴിക്കു തിരിഞ്ഞു; അബ്രാഹാം അവരെ യാത്ര അയപ്പാൻ അവരോടുകൂടെ പോയി.
Aa purushanmaar aviteninnu purappettu sodonvazhikku tirinynyu; abraahaam avare yaatra ayappaan avarotukoote poyi.

- 17അപ്പോൾ യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു: ഞാൻ ചെയ്‌വാനിരിക്കുന്നതു അബ്രാഹാമിനോടു മറെച്ചുവെക്കുമോ?
- 18അബ്രാഹാം വലിയതും ബലമുള്ളതുമായ ജാതിയായി തീരുകയും അവനിൽ ഭൂമിയിലെ ജാതികളൊക്കെയും അനുഗ്രഹിക്കപ്പെടുകയും ചെയ്യുമല്ലോ.
