എന്തു പണയം തരേണം എന്നു അവൻ ചോദിച്ചതിന്നു നിന്റെ മുദ്രമോതിരവും മോതിരച്ചരടും നിന്റെ കയ്യിലെ വടിയും എന്നു അവൾ പറഞ്ഞു. ഇവ അവൾക്കു കൊടുത്തു, അവൻ അവളുടെ അടുക്കൽ ചെന്നു; അവൾ ഗർഭം ധരിക്കയും ചെയ്തു.

- 18എന്തു പണയം തരേണം എന്നു അവൻ ചോദിച്ചതിന്നു നിന്റെ മുദ്രമോതിരവും മോതിരച്ചരടും നിന്റെ കയ്യിലെ വടിയും എന്നു അവൾ പറഞ്ഞു. ഇവ അവൾക്കു കൊടുത്തു, അവൻ അവളുടെ അടുക്കൽ ചെന്നു; അവൾ ഗർഭം ധരിക്കയും ചെയ്തു.
