ഞങ്ങൾ ഇതാ, നീ ഒരിക്കലും വാണിട്ടില്ലാത്തവരും നിന്റെ നാമം വിളിക്കപ്പെട്ടിട്ടില്ലാത്തവരും എന്നപോലെ ആയിത്തീർന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.

Nyangngal itaa, nee orikkalum vaanittillaattavarum ninte naamam vilikkappettittillaattavarum ennapole aayitteernnirikkunnu.

17യഹോവേ, നീ ഞങ്ങളെ നിന്റെ വഴി വിട്ടു തെറ്റുമാറാക്കുന്നതും നിന്നെ ഭയപ്പെടാതവണ്ണം ഞങ്ങളുടെ ഹൃദയത്തെ കഠിനമാക്കുന്നതും എന്തു? നിന്റെ അവകാശഗോത്രങ്ങളായ നിന്റെ ദാസന്മാർനിമിത്തം മടങ്ങിവരേണമേ.
18നിന്റെ വിശുദ്ധജനത്തിന്നു അല്പകാലത്തേക്കു മാത്രം കൈവശമായ ശേഷം നിന്റെ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തെ ഞങ്ങളുടെ വൈരികൾ ചവിട്ടിക്കളഞ്ഞു.
