ഈ സ്ഥലത്തു ജനിക്കുന്ന പുത്രന്മാരെയും പുത്രിമാരെയും കുറിച്ചും ഈ ദേശത്തു അവരെ പ്രസവിക്കുന്ന അമ്മമാരെക്കുറിച്ചും അവരെ ജനിപ്പിക്കുന്ന അപ്പന്മാരെക്കുറിച്ചും യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു:

- 4അവർ കൊടിയ വ്യാധികളാൽ മരിക്കും; ആരും അവരെക്കുറിച്ചു വിലാപം കഴിക്കയോ അവരെ കുഴിച്ചിടുകയോ ചെയ്യാതെ അവർ നിലത്തിന്നു വളമായി കിടക്കും; വാളാലും ക്ഷാമത്താലും അവർ മുടിഞ്ഞുപോകും; അവരുടെ ശവങ്ങൾ ആകാശത്തിലെ പക്ഷികൾക്കും കാട്ടിലെ മൃഗങ്ങൾക്കും ഇരയായിത്തീരും.
- 5യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: നീ ദുഃഖഭവനത്തിൽ ചെല്ലരുതു; വിലപിപ്പാൻ പോകരുതു; അവരോടു സഹതാപം കാണിക്കയും അരുതു; ഞാൻ എന്റെ സമാധാനവും ദയയും കരുണയും ഈ ജനത്തിൽനിന്നു നീക്കിക്കളഞ്ഞു എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.
