2. 3ഞാൻ യിസ്രായേലും യെഹൂദയുമായ എന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ പ്രവാസം മാറ്റുവാനുള്ള കാലം വരും എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു: ഞാൻ അവരുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാർക്കു കൊടുത്ത ദേശത്തേക്കു അവരെ മടക്കിവരുത്തും; അവർ അതിനെ കൈവശമാക്കും എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

4. 5യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: നാം നടുക്കത്തിന്റെ മുഴക്കം കേട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; സമാധാനമല്ല, ഭയമത്രെ ഉള്ളതു.
5. 6പുരുഷൻ പ്രസവിക്കുമാറുണ്ടോ എന്നു ചോദിച്ചുനോക്കുവിൻ! ഏതു പുരുഷനും നോവുകിട്ടിയ സ്ത്രീയെപ്പോലെ കൈ നടുവിന്നു കൊടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നതും ഏതു മുഖവും വിളറിയിരിക്കുന്നതും ഞാൻ കാണുന്നതു എന്തു?
