4. 13എന്നാൽ കാരേഹിന്റെ മകനായ യോഹാനാനും നാട്ടുപുറത്തു പാർത്തിരുന്ന എല്ലാപടത്തലവന്മാരും മിസ്പയിൽ ഗെദല്യാവിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നു അവനോടു:
5. 14നിന്നെ കൊന്നുകളയേണ്ടതിന്നു അമ്മോന്യരുടെ രാജാവായ ബാലീസ് നെഥന്യാവിന്റെ മകനായ യിശ്മായേലിനെ അയച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു നീ അറിയുന്നുവോ എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു; അഹീക്കാമിന്റെ മകനായ ഗെദല്യാവോ അവരുടെ വാക്കു വിശ്വസിച്ചില്ല.
