അതു എന്നിൽ ഇല്ല എന്നു ആഴി പറയുന്നു; അതു എന്റെ പക്കൽ ഇല്ല എന്നു സമുദ്രവും പറയുന്നു.

Atu ennil illa ennu aazhi parayunnu; atu ente pakkal illa ennu samudravum parayunnu.

12എന്നാൽ ജ്ഞാനം എവിടെ കണ്ടുകിട്ടും? വിവേകത്തിന്റെ ഉത്ഭവസ്ഥാനം എവിടെ?
13അതിന്റെ വില മനുഷ്യൻ അറിയുന്നില്ല; ജീവനുള്ളവരുടെ ദേശത്തു അതിനെ കണ്ടെത്തുന്നില്ല.
14അതു എന്നിൽ ഇല്ല എന്നു ആഴി പറയുന്നു; അതു എന്റെ പക്കൽ ഇല്ല എന്നു സമുദ്രവും പറയുന്നു.
15തങ്കം കൊടുത്താൽ അതു കിട്ടുന്നതല്ല; അതിന്റെ വിലയായി വെള്ളി തൂക്കിക്കൊടുക്കാറുമില്ല.
16ഓഫീർപൊന്നോ വിലയേറിയ ഗോമേദകമോ നീലരത്നമോ ഒന്നും അതിന്നു ഈടാകുന്നതല്ല;
