2. 27ഖണ്ഡം വാങ്ങിയ ഉടനെ സാത്താൻ അവനിൽ കടന്നു; യേശു അവനോടു: നീ ചെയ്യുന്നതു വേഗത്തിൽ ചെയ്ക എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
3. 28എന്നാൽ ഇതു ഇന്നതിനെക്കുറിച്ചു പറഞ്ഞുവെന്നു പന്തിയിൽ ഇരുന്നവരിൽ ആരും അറിഞ്ഞില്ല.
4. 29പണസ്സഞ്ചി യൂദയുടെ പക്കൽ ആകയാൽ പെരുനാളിന്നു വേണ്ടുന്നതു മേടിപ്പാനോ ദരിദ്രർക്കു വല്ലതും കൊടുപ്പാനോ യേശു അവനോടു കല്പിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ചിലർക്കു തോന്നി.
5. 30ഖണ്ഡം വാങ്ങിയ ഉടനെ അവൻ എഴുന്നേറ്റുപോയി, അപ്പോൾ രാത്രി ആയിരുന്നു.
