4. 13യോശുവ യെരീഹോവിന്നു സമീപത്തു ഇരിക്കുമ്പോൾ തല ഉയർത്തി നോക്കി; ഒരു ആൾ കയ്യിൽ വാൾ ഊരിപ്പിടിച്ചുകൊണ്ടു അവന്റെ നേരെ നില്ക്കുന്നതു കണ്ടു; യോശുവ അവന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ചെന്നു അവനോടു: നീ ഞങ്ങളുടെ പക്ഷക്കാരനോ ശത്രുപക്ഷക്കാരനോ എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.
