അന്നു പുരുഷന്മാരും സ്ത്രീകളുമായി വീണൊടുങ്ങിയവർ ആകെ പന്തീരായിരം പേർ; ഹായിപട്ടണക്കാർ എല്ലാവരും തന്നേ.
Annu purushanmaarum streekalumaayi veenotungngiyavar aake panteeraayiram per; haayipattanakkaar ellaavarum tanne.

- 27യഹോവ യോശുവയോടു കല്പിച്ച വചനപ്രകാരം യിസ്രായേല്യർ പട്ടണത്തിലെ കന്നുകാലികളെയും കൊള്ളയെയും തങ്ങൾക്കായിട്ടു തന്നേ എടുത്തു.
