എന്നാൽ യിസ്രായേലിന്നു ബലം കൂടിയപ്പോൾ അവർ കന്യാന്യരെ മുഴുവനും നീക്കിക്കളയാതെ അവരെക്കൊണ്ടു ഊഴിയവേല ചെയ്യിച്ചു.

- 30സെബൂലൂൻ കിത്രോനിലും നഹലോലിലും പാർത്തിരുന്നവരെ നീക്കിക്കളഞ്ഞില്ല; കനാന്യർ ഊഴിയവേലക്കാരായിത്തീർന്നു അവരുടെ ഇടയിൽ പാർത്തു.
