അമ്മോന്യരുടെ രാജാവു യിഫ്താഹിന്റെ ദൂതന്മാരോടു: യിസ്രായേൽ മിസ്രയീമിൽനിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടുവന്നപ്പോൾ അവർ അർന്നോൻമുതൽ യബ്ബോക് വരെയും യോർദ്ദാൻ വരെയും ഉള്ള എന്റെ ദേശം അടക്കിയതുകൊണ്ടു തന്നേ; ഇപ്പോൾ ആ ദേശങ്ങളെ സമാധാനത്തോടെ മടക്കിത്തരിക എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
