ഉടനെ ആ സ്ത്രീ ഓടിച്ചെന്നു ഭർത്താവിനെ അറിയിച്ചു; അന്നു എന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വന്ന ആൾ ഇതാ, എനിക്കു പ്രത്യക്ഷനായിവന്നിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു അവനോടു പറഞ്ഞു.

- 11മാനോഹ ഉടനെ എഴുന്നേറ്റു ഭാര്യയോടുകൂടെ ചെന്നു ആ പുരുഷന്റെ അടുക്കൽ എത്തി; ഈ സ്ത്രീയോടു സംസാരിച്ച ആൾ നീയോ എന്നു അവനോടു ചോദിച്ചു; ഞാൻ തന്നേ എന്നു അവൻ പറഞ്ഞു.
- 12മാനോഹ അവനോടു: നിന്റെ വചനം നിവൃത്തിയാകുമ്പോൾ ബാലന്റെ കാര്യത്തിൽ ഞങ്ങൾ എങ്ങനെ ആചരിക്കേണം? അവനെ സംബന്ധിച്ചു എന്തു ചെയ്യേണം എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.
