3. 8കുറെക്കാലം കഴിഞ്ഞശേഷം അവൻ അവളെ വിവാഹം കഴിപ്പാൻ തിരികെ പോകയിൽ സിംഹത്തിന്റെ ഉടൽ നോക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു മാറിച്ചെന്നു; സിംഹത്തിന്റെ ഉടലിന്നകത്തു ഒരു തേനീച്ചക്കൂട്ടവും തേനും കണ്ടു.
4. 9അതു അവൻ കയ്യിൽ എടുത്തു തിന്നുംകൊണ്ടു നടന്നു, അപ്പന്റെയും അമ്മയുടെയും അടുക്കൽ ചെന്നു അവർക്കും കൊടുത്തു അവരും തിന്നു; എന്നാൽ തേൻ ഒരു സിംഹത്തിന്റെ ഉടലിൽനിന്നു എടുത്തു എന്നു അവൻ അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞില്ല.
5. 10അങ്ങനെ അവന്റെ അപ്പൻ ആ സ്ത്രീയുടെ വീട്ടിൽ ചെന്നു; ശിംശോൻ അവിടെ ഒരു വിരുന്നുകഴിച്ചു; യൗവനക്കാർ അങ്ങനെ ചെയ്ക പതിവായിരുന്നു.
