2. 10നിങ്ങൾ ചെല്ലുമ്പോൾ നിർഭയമായിരിക്കുന്ന ഒരു ജനത്തെ കാണും; ദേശം വിശാലമാകുന്നു; ദൈവം അതു നിങ്ങളുടെ കയ്യിൽ തന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; അതു ഭൂമിയിലുള്ള യാതൊന്നിന്നും കുറവില്ലാത്ത സ്ഥലം തന്നേ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
3. 11അനന്തരം സോരയിലും എസ്തായോലിലും ഉള്ള ദാൻഗോത്രക്കാരിൽ അറുനൂറു പേർ യുദ്ധസന്നദ്ധരായി അവിടെനിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടു.
4. 12അവർ ചെന്നു യെഹൂദയിലെ കിര്യത്ത്-യയാരീമിൽ പാളയം ഇറങ്ങി; അതുകൊണ്ടു ആ സ്ഥലത്തിന്നു ഇന്നുവരെയും മഹനേ-ദാൻ എന്നു പേർ പറയുന്നു; അതു കിര്യത്ത്-യയാരീമിന്റെ പിൻവശത്തു ഇരിക്കുന്നു.
5. 13അവിടെനിന്നു അവർ എഫ്രയീംമലനാട്ടിലേക്കു ചെന്നു മീഖാവിന്റെ വീട്ടിന്നരികെ എത്തി.
