അവർ എഫ്രയീംമലനാട്ടിൽ മീഖാവിന്റെ വീടുവരെ എത്തി രാത്രി അവിടെ പാർത്തു. മീഖാവിന്റെ വീട്ടിന്നരികെ എത്തിയപ്പോൾ അവർ ആ ലേവ്യയുവാവിന്റെ ശബ്ദം കേട്ടറിഞ്ഞു അവിടെ കയറിച്ചെന്നു അവനോടു: നിന്നെ ഇവിടെ കൊണ്ടുവന്നതു ആർ? നീ ഇവിടെ എന്തു ചെയ്യുന്നു? നിനക്കു ഇവിടെ എന്തു കിട്ടും എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.
Avar ephrayeemmalanaattil meekhaavinte veetuvare etti raatri avite paarttu. Meekhaavinte veettinnarike ettiyappol avar aa levyayuvaavinte shabdam kettarinynyu avite kayarichchennu avanotu: ninne ivite kontuvannatu aar? Nee ivite entu cheyyunnu? Ninakku ivite entu kittum ennu chodichchu.

- 4അവൻ അവരോടു: മീഖാവു എനിക്കു ഇന്നിന്നതു ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു; അവൻ എന്നെ ശമ്പളത്തിന്നു നിർത്തി; ഞാൻ അവന്റെ പുരോഹിതൻ ആകുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
- 5അവർ അവനോടു: ഞങ്ങൾ പോകുന്ന യാത്ര ശുഭമാകുമോ എന്നു അറിയേണ്ടതിന്നു ദൈവത്തോടു ചോദിക്കേണം എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
