യിസ്രായേലിൽനിന്നു ഒരു ഗോത്രം നശിച്ചു പോകാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ബെന്യാമീന്യരിൽ രക്ഷപ്പെട്ടവർക്കു അവരുടെ അവകാശം നില്ക്കേണം.

- 15അവർക്കു അവരെക്കൊണ്ടു തികെഞ്ഞില്ല. യഹോവ യിസ്രായേൽഗോത്രങ്ങളിൽ ഒരു ഛേദം വരുത്തിയിരിക്കകൊണ്ടു ജനം ബെന്യാമീന്യരെക്കുറിച്ചു ദുഃഖിച്ചു.
- 16ശേഷിച്ചവർക്കു സ്ത്രീകളെ കിട്ടേണ്ടതിന്നു നാം എന്തു ചെയ്യേണ്ടു? ബെന്യാമീൻ ഗോത്രത്തിൽനിന്നു സ്ത്രീകൾ അറ്റുപോയിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ എന്നു സഭയിലെ മൂപ്പന്മാർ പറഞ്ഞു.
- 17യിസ്രായേലിൽനിന്നു ഒരു ഗോത്രം നശിച്ചു പോകാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ബെന്യാമീന്യരിൽ രക്ഷപ്പെട്ടവർക്കു അവരുടെ അവകാശം നില്ക്കേണം.
- 18എങ്കിലും നമുക്കു നമ്മുടെ പുത്രിമാരെ അവർക്കു ഭാര്യമാരായി കൊടുത്തുകൂടാ; ബെന്യാമീന്യർക്കു സ്ത്രീയെ കൊടുക്കുന്നവൻ ശപിക്കപ്പെട്ടവൻ എന്നു യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾ ശപഥം ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ എന്നും അവർ പറഞ്ഞു.
- 19അപ്പോൾ അവർ: ബേഥേലിന്നു വടക്കും ബേഥേലിൽനിന്നു ശെഖേമിലേക്കു പോകുന്ന പെരുവഴിക്കു കിഴക്കും ലെബോനെക്കു തെക്കും ശീലോവിൽ ആണ്ടുതോറും യഹോവയുടെ ഉത്സവം ഉണ്ടല്ലോ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
