അഹരോന്റെ രണ്ടുപുത്രന്മാർ യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയിൽ അടുത്തുചെന്നിട്ടു മരിച്ചുപോയ ശേഷം യഹോവ മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു എന്തെന്നാൽ:

2കൃപാസനത്തിന്മീതെ മേഘത്തിൽ ഞാൻ വെളിപ്പെടുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു നിന്റെ സഹോദരനായ അഹരോൻ മരിക്കാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തിൽ തിരശ്ശീലെക്കകത്തു പെട്ടകത്തിന്മേലുള്ള കൃപാസനത്തിൻ മുമ്പിൽ എല്ലാസമയത്തും വരരുതു എന്നു അവനോടു പറയേണം.
3പാപയാഗത്തിന്നു ഒരു കാളക്കിടാവിനോടും ഹോമയാഗത്തിന്നു ഒരു ആട്ടുകൊറ്റനോടുംകൂടെ അഹരോൻ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തിൽ കടക്കേണം.
