2. 43*നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയിൽ അങ്ങനെ അരുതു; നിങ്ങളിൽ മഹാൻ ആകുവാൻ ഇച്ഛിക്കുന്നവൻ എല്ലാം നിങ്ങളുടെ ശുശ്രൂഷക്കാരൻ ആകേണം;

5. 46അവർ യെരീഹോവിൽ എത്തി; പിന്നെ അവൻ ശിഷ്യന്മാരോടും വലിയ പുരുഷാരത്തോടും കൂടെ യെരീഹോവിൽ നിന്നു പുറപ്പെടുമ്പോൾ തിമായിയുടെ മകനായ ബർത്തിമായി എന്ന കുരുടനായ ഒരു ഭിക്ഷക്കാരൻ വഴിയരികെ ഇരുന്നിരുന്നു.
